Begun in 1997, Seeing Stars! is the tuition assistance program for the Flint School of Performing Arts. It has provided thousands of low income students the chance to realize their dreams of making music or dancing. During the 2016-17 school year alone, 727 students were awarded $154,840 in tuition assistance.

Providing children the opportunity for long term arts study is critical. Not only does it develop creativity, it fosters a sense of achievement and teaches important skills like discipline and teamwork. Your participation at this special event provides students who need financial assistance the chance to study music and dance at the Flint School of Performing Arts–an opportunity they wouldn’t otherwise have.
